Terms
1. Digital build plans
No refunds. Build plans are digital files delivered the moment payment clears. Because you receive the complete product instantly, all sales of digital plans are final. You confirm this at checkout by ticking the consent box before you pay. Each plan page states exactly what is in the file (page count, cut list, materials, tools, step-by-step) so you can decide before buying.
Personal-use licence. Buying a plan gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it to build the project for yourself, and to build and sell the finished pieces you make from it. It does not give you the right to copy, share, resell, give away, or post the plan file itself, in whole or in part, or to remove the Threefold Cedar mark from it.
Downloads. Your download link is emailed to the address you enter at checkout and stays valid for seven days. Lost it? Use Your order and we will send a fresh link to the same address. Please check spam before writing to us.
Accuracy. Plans give real milled dimensions and cut lists. Lumber varies; measure your own boards and cut one test piece before batching. We are not responsible for material bought or cut before you have checked the plan against your stock.
2. Planters (pickup and local delivery)
Planters are handmade to order in western red cedar and sold for pickup or local delivery only; we do not ship. Your ZIP code is checked before checkout. If your address turns out to be outside the delivery area after payment, we will refund the order in full.
After payment we email you to arrange a pickup time or delivery window. Cedar is a natural material: colour, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece, and the wood will silver over time outdoors unless you oil it. That is character, not a defect.
If a planter arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within seven days with a photo and we will repair, replace, or refund it.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars. Sales are currently limited to billing addresses in the United States.
4. Intellectual property
The Threefold Cedar name, mark and site are ours. Plan files are copyrighted and sold under licence as set out in section 1.
5. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. If any part is found unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Questions: hello@threefoldcedar.com.
