What we collect, and why
When you buy
Checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, billing address and card details under its own privacy policy; we receive your name, email, what you bought, and (for planters) your ZIP code and fulfilment choice. We keep that order record so we can deliver, re-send download links, and answer questions. For digital plans we also log when a download link is used and from which IP address; that is our record that the file was delivered.
Order emails are sent through Resend. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
When you visit
This site loads advertising and analytics tags through Google Tag Manager:
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — records page views and purchases so we can measure ads and show you a Threefold Cedar ad on Facebook or Instagram after your visit.
- Google Ads tag — the same, for Google Search, Display and YouTube.
- Google Analytics — counts visits and which pages people read.
These set cookies and send your browser's identifiers to Meta and Google. Neither receives your card details. You can opt out of personalised ads at Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings, or block the tags with a browser extension; the site works without them.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for a short period for security.
Your rights
Email hello@threefoldcedar.com to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you. We will keep order records as long as tax law requires. We do not sell your personal information.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
