Threefold Cedar

Cedar planters, built by hand in a garage in Princeton, Texas. Build plans for the rest of the house.

The shop

Everything in this house started on a saw stand in the garage.

Cut, glued, clamped, nailed.

Western red cedar. A miter saw, wood glue, one bar clamp, a brad nailer. That is the whole shop, and it is enough.

This is the Square Box Planter coming together. Sixteen inches square, eighteen tall, joined at the corners and oiled to order.

The planters are the ones we build and deliver. The bench is one of ours too, built from a ten dollar plan on a Saturday.

The yard

Around the side. It is dusk by now.

A fire, a long table, and the kids somewhere past the light.
